Akuffo Addo’s Harsh Words To The Aflao Chief

The president of Ghana, H.E Nana Akufo-Addo has asked Togbui Adzovnu -Gaga  Amenya Fiti V who the Paramount Chief of the Aflao Traditional Area to “complete” the abandoned E-block community day senior high school in his area by himself if he is perturbed and angry about the delay or the abandonment of the project.


 Torgbui Adzonu-Gaga Amenya Fiti V gave on Wednesday 20th , the paramount Chief gave government a four-month ultimatum to complete the construction of the school project.

The building was built under the administration of the former president John Dramani Mahama, it is a 26unit classroom block,this project falls under many other projects been abandoned by the current Akuffo Addo administration.

The Chief made this statement during the visit of the Minority caucus of parliament on parliament’s Education committee toured the abandoned facility. 


But however Akuffo Addo, the President of the nation speaking in an interview on Peace   FM with Kwame Sefa  Kayi quizzed whether it was in the power of the Chief to give an ultimatum to the Minister to complete the building and further stated “complete abandoned E blocks if you are frustrated”


This comment has gone down well with many Ghanaians especially Netizens as to why the president should give the Chief such a reply.

Medikal arrested by police for brandishing gun

Ghanaian rapper, Samuel Adu Frimpong, aka Medikal, has been arrested for brandishing a gun in a video on social media. Medikal was with his wife, Fella Makafui, at the Accra Regional Police Command charge office. He was brought to the station by police and is currently in police custody. This comes a few hours after dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale, and four other people were remanded into police custody following an alleged gun attack that turned out to be a hoax. They were remanded by an Accra Circuit Court on Thursday, October 21, 2021, during their first appearance in court. Shatta Wale was picked up by the police for spreading false news about an assassination attempt at his residence in Accra on October 19, 2021.
