Sam George Dares Kyei Mensah Bonsu Over LGBTQ+ Bill
Sam George the MP for Ningo Prampram has accused the Majority leader of parliament Kyei Mensah Bonsu of introducing partisan politics into the LGBTQ debate.
The Mp for Ningo Prampram has also challenged the majority leader to explain to Ghanaians why there is only One Npp MP’s signature on the the LGBTQ+ bill which is currently in parliament.
Speaking on the Thursdays edition of good morning Ghana , Sam George stated that the majority leader wants to introduce a political slant into the LGBTQ conversation.
He said”the majority leader appears to want to strenuously introduce a political slant to this matter. His whole interest into calling this press conference is to literally attack the Speaker Rt.Hon Alban Bagbin. and make comments that the speaker has erred in one way or the other”
“I have lots of respect for Kyei Mensah Bonsu , but on this one he shouldn’t let his partisan political coloration replace what is apolitical.
This bill has absolutely no political colouration and we will resist any political attempt to coloring it” the Mp for Ningo Prampram added.
