The Teaching Profession in Ghana : My Concerns by Enock Nimfour I have invariably cherished and dreamt of becoming a teacher who will impart sound knowledge, imbue students with skills and support them to cultivate acceptable behaviours in other to fit into wherever they find themselves. I was fortunate enough to get great teachers to take me through this journey. My dream of becoming a teacher was mainly influenced by the relentless efforts of teachers who saw my hidden prospects, moulded me to bring the very best out of me... I appreciate that a lot.! This is not far fetched in the life of every Ghanaian student. We have dozens of reasons to celebrate teachers on a special day like this.
